The Taste of Summer Salad

Slice tomatoes about 1/3 inch thick. (Use only the best homegrown tomatoes.) Slice mozzarella about 1/4 inch thick. On a plate, arrange tomatoes and cheese, alternating to take advantage of the contrasting colors. Drop the basil leaves all around and on top of the tomatoes and cheese. Drizzle olive oil lightly over all and serve at room temperature.
